SCULPTURE

After Graduating with honors from Skidmore College, Walker has continued her work pushing against societal norms with her salaciously loud sculptures, paintings, and video installations. Walker is interested in the concept of Nature vs. Nurture when it comes to her own personal taste and aesthetic attraction. Her work is intertwined with the suggestion of autonomy- when applying sexualization to oneself- in a way that may be pleasurable, problematic, or both. Walker has shown internationally in galleries and museums, most recently completing an artist residency at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. She is currently working on a new collection of larger-than-life figurative sculptures and is set to complete a residency at the Vermont Studio Center this spring.
